Job Posting: School Impact Coordinator
Position Overview:
We are looking for a School Impact Coordinator to help develop environmental education experiences for students in K-8, with the primary emphasis being K-5. This role will also build and nurture relationships with schools in metro Atlanta, enhancing our programs and expanding our impact in the region.

Our programs help schools, families, and communities take actionable steps towards a more sustainable future. We are seeking a dynamic, self-motivated individual who is passionate about the environment and education to join our team in expanding our impact across metro Atlanta.
Key Responsibilities:
Program Development: Collaborate with the team to expand existing programs and develop new initiatives that meet educational standards, address environmental needs, and align with My Green Earth’s strategic goals. This includes creating lesson plans, identifying and sourcing materials needed, and creating new in-school field trip experiences.
School Partnerships: Build and maintain relationships with schools in metro Atlanta to grow our program offerings and increase our impact.
Field Trip Facilitation: Work with industry experts to facilitate in-school field trips on environmental topics, ensuring an engaging and educational experience for students.
Community Impact: Integrate our school programs with community impact opportunities beyond schools, promoting an overall community ethos anchored in environmental stewardship and an appreciation of nature.
Qualifications:
Certified teacher with a minimum of 7 years experience in K-8 education
Proven passion for the environment
Ability to work independently and creatively solve problems
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
