700 Pounds of Lights

In January, as the holiday season wrapped up, we sent out a call to our community to drop off old or broken holiday lights to three locations in Cobb County to be recycled instead of thrown away. When all was said and done, our community recycled 700 pounds of lights this season, for a two-year impact of 1000 total pounds of holiday lights recycled.

Thank you to our collection partners:

  • The Space Shop of East Cobb

  • Mi Studio Salon in Marietta

  • Pat Maxwell’s Place in Austell

  • Tritt Elementary PTA

  • Mountain View Elementary PTA

  • Blackwell Elementary

  • Frannick's Cafe - Dallas, Georgia

Are you interested in helping us recycle even more in 2025 or serving as a collection point? Contact Bethany at bethany@mygreenearth.org.
