Year-End School Supply Collections

Don’t let your leftover supplies go to waste!

We get it – the end of the school year is chock full of activities and celebrations, racing toward the finish line. Both students and parents alike are excited for the good stuff but also trying to keep our heads above water. As your students clean out their desks, don’t pitch those leftover school supplies – give them a new life with MGE!

MGE is collecting new and gently used school supplies again this year to then redistribute in late summer to students and families who need them at Title I schools. Anyone can drop off their items at The Space Shop on Gordy Parkway in Marietta through May 30, and several local schools are also hosting collection drives. We will provide free collection bins to schools and local businesses that want to host their own collection drives - just let us know! Help us keep these school supplies out of the landfill!

On June 17 and July 16 at 9 a.m., we invite volunteers to join us at our storage unit to help us sort collected supplies in preparation for distributing to families in need.
