Board Spotlight: Anita Paolucci

Marietta native Anita Paolucci joined the board recently and brings with her a wealth of experience. 

Anita’s all in with MGE! In recent  years, Anita has become more and more interested and engaged with the great outdoors. Through exploring all of what Georgia has to offer, she set and achieved a big goal in 2024 - she, her husband, and their young son completed a 52-hike challenge while exploring our local and state parks. “I never knew how many wonderful spots were all around me,” she shared.

With an impressive 18-year career at Cox Automotive, Anita is an expert in operations, service, and marketing. She’s bringing so much skill to the MGE table, including helping the organization think through how to engage corporations in sustainability practices and volunteering, tapping into networks that can make a big impact.

Anita is passionate about helping youth (and all of us!) understand the benefits of recycling and why it matters. Like so many, she is in the process of life-long learning about everything relating to sustainability and hopes to pass that on to the community around her.

And as for Anita’s 2025 challenge? Her family has set a goal to hike around all the waterfalls they can find in Georgia.
