Partner Spotlight: Roundtrip Brewing

Round Trip Brewing Co. is a new East Cobb business and this month’s spotlight partner, as the host of “Library of Things” event kick-off on Oct. 17.

Founded in 2021, Round Trip Brewing Co. specializes in “Typical and Üntypical German Style Beers” which is unique in metro Atlanta. CEO & Head Brewer Craig Mycoskie opened Its first location in West Midtown after a professional brewing career that took him from Denver to Fort Worth, Austin, and now Atlanta. His education through the International Brewing Diploma program at the Siebel Institute of Technology based in Chicago and Munich sparked his love for German beers.

One of the hallmarks of Round Trip Brewing Co. is their commitment to connecting to their communities. Round Trip offers its space for community events and has created relationships with many churches and schools in their West Midtown neighborhood. They’re looking forward to establishing those same kinds of relationships in Cobb County, starting with MGE.

It can be difficult for a restaurant to adopt sustainability practices, especially one with a product that requires a lot of water usage. Round Trip is on its own journey to establish good habits, however, and is always looking for more ways to creatively reuse materials. East Cobb’s taproom manager Joe Watts says that the brewery is grateful to be a part of Avenue East Cobb, which provides cardboard and plastic recycling to its tenants. Round Trip also takes special care to collect plastic rings used for beer cans, which they then take to a service to sanitize and reuse.
