Board Spotlight: Spencer Burton Webb

My Green Earth is thrilled to welcome Spencer Burton-Webb to our Board of Directors! A dedicated community leader and experienced public servant, Spencer brings with him a wealth of knowledge in grant management, public funding, and sustainable community development—and he's already making a meaningful impact.

A Morehouse College graduate, Spencer currently serves the City of Atlanta, where he’s spent over a decade working in fiscal operations and community development. He oversees several major federal grant programs, including Community Development Block Grants (CDBG), HOME, HOPWA, and ESG, with a focus on expenditure tracking, policy compliance, and ensuring funds are used effectively and ethically. His deep understanding of federal processes and community needs makes him an invaluable addition to the My Green Earth team.

But Spencer’s commitment doesn’t stop at board meetings. On May 14, he jumped right into action, leading a lively school garden cleanup with Garrett Middle School 8th graders. Students worked hard and had fun - laughing, discovering frogs and worms, and wrapping up a full cleanup in under an hour!

Spencer’s hands-on leadership, extensive governance experience, and passion for equitable community development embody everything we stand for at My Green Earth. We are so grateful to have him on board.

Thank you, Spencer, for your service, your spirit, and your commitment to a greener future.
